Hello! My name is teacher Jaz, and I am an ESL teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach both children and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying English proficiency levels.

Teaching style
I have experience teaching a wide variety of ESL classes for both children and adults. For young learners, I focus on phonics, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and basic grammar through songs, games, storytelling, and interactive activities that keep them engaged and motivated.
For adult learners, I teach conversational English, Business English, travel English, interview preparation, pronunciation, grammar, and daily communication. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether they want to improve their confidence in speaking, advance their career, or prepare for exams.
To make my classes interesting, I use real-life situations, role-playing, discussions, videos, pictures, quizzes, and interactive online tools. I encourage students to speak as much as possible by asking open-ended questions and giving positive, constructive feedback. I also adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels, ensuring that every lesson is engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
After 17 years of teaching, I have learned that students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and actively involved in the lesson. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students gain both confidence and strong communication skills.
About me
One interesting thing about me is that I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures. As an ESL teacher for 17 years, I've had the opportunity to teach students of different ages and nationalities, and I love learning about their traditions, interests, and experiences while helping them improve their English. Every class is a chance to learn something new, which makes teaching exciting and rewarding for me.
