Teaching style
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and learner-centered. I always make sure my students feel comfortable and confident throughout the lesson. I focus on making the learning process simple, enjoyable, and easy to understand. With my experience in the English teaching industry, I have learned several effective techniques that help students improve naturally—whether in speaking, grammar, pronunciation, or comprehension. I adjust my lessons based on the student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady progress and a positive learning experience.
About me
I am 29 years old and a proud mother of one daughter. I love reading books and telling stories, especially with kids. I often let them act out the characters because it helps them enjoy reading and understand the story better. I also worked as a reading teacher in my previous school, where I guided young learners in building their vocabulary, fluency, and love for books. Teaching children to read has always been one of my passions, and I enjoy creating fun, interactive activities that make learning exciting and meaningful. As I continued teaching, I discovered that I also enjoy working with adult learners just as much. Teaching different age groups has helped me become more flexible, understanding, and creative in my approach. Whether it’s making lessons fun and engaging for young learners or helping adults improve their communication skills for work or daily life, I am committed to providing a positive and effective learning experience for everyone I teach.
Work experience
Cebu Math and English Academy
-
ESL Teacher and a Tutor
In my previous job, we taught ESL classes in the morning and academic subjects in the afternoon. This setup allowed me to work with learners in different areas of their development—helping them improve their English communication skills while also supporting their academic growth. I handled reading, writing, grammar, and other subject areas, making sure my lessons were clear, engaging, and appropriate for their level. This experience strengthened my adaptability as a teacher, as I learned to switch between language-focused lessons and academic instruction with ease. It also helped me develop strong classroom management, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how to meet students’ individual learning needs.

IBED - Faculty
In this previous job, I handled the Reading subject for three levels, which helped me deepen my experience in guiding learners with different reading abilities. I created level-appropriate activities, taught vocabulary and comprehension skills, and used interactive methods to keep pupils engaged. Working with multiple levels trained me to adjust my strategies quickly and provide the right support for each learner. It also strengthened my ability to assess reading progress and create lessons that help pupils develop confidence and a genuine love for reading.
